Hi Cliff,
Just returned from China. A long way to get there, but very interesting. The big cities I visited are incredibly accesible, and the scooter behaved very well.A fascinating trip.
Got the charger ok, but have not tried it yet.

"Enclosed finally 2 yrs. later are the pictures I promised you of my 88 yr. old Dad... on the wonderful electric scooter you sent them. It has been a God send to them. The live about half a mile from a shopping complex which has a bank, Safeway, Walgreens, and an Ace Hardware. The basket on the back carries six grocery bags and as it is classified as a mobility aid, they can safely go on the sidewalk and safely stay out of the 4-lane highway next to them.....
I go a debit card at Safeway for my Mom and told her it was only good for flowers (I lied!) so every week she goes up with Dad and gets a bunch of flowers and people honk and wave to them as they breeze along the sidewalk like two old lovers heading home.
Everytime Dad is at the shopping center someone will ask him where he got the scooter as the two seater is unusual... They have had not one moments trouble with the scooter and I thank you so much for your kindness and generosity in providing all the extra parts and for giving me such peace of mind providing this safe and easy to use vehicle for them."
